Buyers look at Management Rights as a secure business
offering a high return on their investment. They are also often
looking to find the right combination between work and the lifestyle.
Your own personality will determine the business suits you. To
run a permanent residential business, you would be expected to
care for the complex as if it were your own house – only
more. Also, you become a Real Estate Agent, caring for the investors’
property and collecting their rents. To consider managing a Holiday
Complex you need great public relations skills, ability to organise
marketing, a keen eye for detail to ensure the product you are
selling is presented to the highest possible standard. All this
while keeping your investor owner happy.

What Type Of Complex?
A Holiday Complex is full-on. It has the cut and thrust of people,
usually happy people, coming and going, there’s a lot more
office work and longer working hours. There are higher returns
and more “buzz”.
A Permanent Complex is easier to run, less office work and a
lot more free time, no Sunday work and none, or only half a day
on Saturdays. More time for family and other pursuits, less income
generally, but not always. Do your research. Often, more gardening
than a holiday complex.
